School Board Meeting for tonight 9/11/2023 has been postponed until 9/25/2023.

Melbourne Sonic collected, donated, and delivered school supplies for 60 Kindergarten students! Thank you so much! It takes a village and our village is TOP NOTCH!
Open House is Thursday, August 10 from 5 PM to 7 PM at the high school, elementary, and Bearkatz Academy! 9th Grade parent meeting at 6 PM in the high school cafeteria! We look forward to seeing everyone!
A few community events are coming up as well. There will be a carnival at the county fair on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday this week! Also on Saturday, the Melbourne Fire Auxillary and the Melbourne Chamber of Commerce are hosting a Back to School Bash and "Stuff the Bus" for school supplies from 2 PM to 7 PM .

As we continue to prepare our campus buildings and classrooms for the beginning of the 2023-24 school year, we wanted to share some important items prior to the start of the new school year. First of all, we hope that everyone enjoyed their summer break and we are ready to hit the ground running to reach your expectations for today’s students.
We encourage our families to stay up-to-date on campus news and happenings by visiting our website at bearkatz.k12.ar.us or download the Bearkatz App from the app store. We also hope you continue to follow the conversation of what’s happening in our classrooms by following us on Facebook. We are looking forward to sharing the positive stories, pathways and successes of today’s students.
