Valentine’s Day is all about the wonder of love and sharing special moments together. Melbourne Elementary kindergarten classes enjoyed exchanging treats and cards in celebration of Valentine’s Day on Monday, February 14, 2022. The fun did not stop there, the kindergarten students created Valentine’s cards that Melbourne cafeteria workers delivered along with cookies to the Pioneer Nursing Home. Students not only learned writing lessons, but they also learned the importance of showing love to complete strangers.
They can reach out to other people and even though they do not get to see these people personally, that they can encourage them and let them know that someone cares about them. Making a positive impact in the community in a tangible way!
