On December 12, 2023, juniors and a few seniors at Melbourne High School took
the Workkeys NCR Certification test. The Workkeys NCR Certification test is
offered to all students in the State of Arkansas and is designed to measure career-
relevant skills for workplace success with different levels of achievement:
Platinum being the highest, followed by Gold, Silver and Bronze, in that order.
Once a student takes and passes the exam and receives a certificate, it is good for
life and recognized nationally! There are several businesses across the nation and
here in Arkansas that require this certification for employment with more and
more being added all the time. Each year, Melbourne School District offers it to
all juniors or any senior who has not yet taken it. We are so proud to announce
that on January 8, 2024, fifty-nine MHS students received their Workkeys NCR
Certifications! We presented 6 Platinum, 19 Gold, 23 Silver, and 11 Bronze
certificates! Congratulations to all our certificate winners with a special
congratulations to the top Platinum winners: Cai Crass, Noah Dennis, Annie Rush,
Allie Cone, Cael Bray, and Mackenzie Thomas!
